Our online Nadi Astrology reading process has been refined over
four generations of practice to be both accessible and authentic. Whether you are in
Tamil Nadu or on the other side of the globe, the process is identical — your thumb impression is the only
requirement. Here is exactly what to expect at each stage.
1
Step
1: Send Your Thumb Impression
The process begins when you send us a clear photograph of your thumb impression. For men,
we require the right thumb. For women, we require the left
thumb. This ancient classification is based on the energetic polarity described in the Siddha
tradition.
How to Take a
Good Thumb Impression Photo
- Use a well-lit natural light environment — avoid flash photography
- Press your thumb firmly on a clean white paper surface
- Alternatively, use a standard ink pad and take a clear print on white paper
- Photograph the print from directly above, ensuring all ridge patterns are visible
- You may also send a high-resolution photo of your thumb itself (close-up)

Kandams you are interested in (or ask for a recommendation).

Step
2: Leaf Search & Identification
Once we receive your thumb impression, our senior Nadi reader classifies the ridge patterns into one of 108
primary categories used in the Nadi tradition. This classification identifies the specific bundle of palm leaf manuscripts most likely to contain your leaf.
The reader then begins the identification process — opening the relevant bundles and reading the
identification section of individual leaves. Each leaf begins with a series of statements about the person
it describes: the first syllable of their name, the names of their parents, their birth order, marital
status, number of children, and profession. The reader reads these statements aloud during a brief phone
call, and you respond only with "yes" or "no". You provide no additional
information.
This process typically takes 1 to 3 days. In some cases, particularly for seekers with
less common thumb classifications, the search may take slightly longer. We keep you informed throughout via
WhatsApp.

Step
3: Secure Payment
Payment is only requested after your leaf has been found and verified. If we are unable to
locate your Nadi leaf after a thorough search, you owe nothing — our money-back guarantee is absolute.
We accept the following payment methods: Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS), UPI
(Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), PayPal (for international seekers), Western
Union, and Wise (TransferWise). Payment details are shared via WhatsApp once
your leaf is confirmed.
Pricing varies based on the number of Kandams you choose. The General Kandam (Kandam 1) has a standard fee,
and each additional Kandam has its own fee. We will provide a clear quote before you commit. Contact us for
current pricing.

Step
4: Live Reading Session
After payment is confirmed, we schedule your reading session at a time that suits your time zone. Readings
are conducted via phone call or video call (WhatsApp Video, Zoom, or
Google Meet) — whichever you prefer.
During the session, our reader opens your confirmed leaf and translates the ancient Tamil inscriptions in
real-time, explaining each prediction, its context, and its significance. Each Kandam reading takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes. If you have
chosen multiple Kandams, we can schedule them in one sitting or across multiple sessions.
The entire session is recorded and shared with you via WhatsApp or email for future
reference. Many seekers revisit their recording months or years later as predictions unfold.

What to Expect During Your Reading
A Nadi reading is unlike any other astrological consultation you may have experienced. You will not be asked
for your birth date, birth time, or birth place — your thumb impression is the only input. The reading begins
with the reader reciting the invocation inscribed on your leaf, calling upon the blessings of Sage Agastya and
the divine lineage. The reader then proceeds through each section of the selected Kandam, translating and
explaining the ancient text.
Seekers typically describe the experience as deeply moving — particularly when the leaf accurately describes
details of their life that they have never shared with anyone. It is not unusual for seekers to feel strong
emotions during the reading, especially during Kandam 13 (Past Life Karma), which reveals the karmic patterns
underlying current life challenges.
We encourage you to approach the reading with an open mind and heart. You are welcome to take notes and ask
clarifying questions at any point during the session. If remedies
(Pariharams) are prescribed, the reader will explain each remedy in detail and provide written
instructions afterwards.
